UK govt unveils plans for EV infrastructure, allows petrol and diesel hybrids after 2040

The UK’s Department for Transport (DfT) has outlined proposals for faster deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, including hundreds of thousands more chargepoints across the country, in a measure aimed at driving down demand for petrol and diesel cars.
